From the Steiff 1999 collection comes this Good Luck and Hello Euro Teddy Bear. It was issued to say hello and welcome to the Euro as the unit of currency in Germany and the European community. The Good Luck Hello Euro Teddy is made of blond mohair and measures approximately 28 cm / 11.2 inches. It features a white numbered ear tag, is fully jointed, and was limited in production to the end of the year 1999. Total quantity produced was 4,250 pieces. In the bear’s right hand is an attached embroidered money bag and attached to the bear’s left hand is a numbered certificate of authenticity (#00195 / 4,250). The blue pads of his feet display the symbol of the Euro currency surrounded by the member nations stars of the European Union.
