The New Old E 44

They still delight Märklin fans all over the world with their timeless elegance: The rugged Märklin locomotives constructed of die-cast metal from the Fifties and Sixties. The E 44 undoubtedly counts among the especially beautiful models of that time. It conquered the hearts of model railroaders between 1954 and 1968. Now Märklin is issuing this icon again in the old form with modern digital technology. The fascinating Märklin era of the Economic Miracle years now comes to life again with the "tin-plate" "Karwendel Express" cars constructed of metal – on a layout or as genuine eyecatchers in a display case.
